R2, meet Finder.
Cloud storage that behaves like a local folder.

Concept illustrationThe problem
Cloudflare R2 is cheap and fast, but using it from macOS usually means macFUSE — which demands a kernel extension, security approvals, and a reboot.
What I built
A POSIX file system on top of R2, mounted in Finder over SMB. No macFUSE, no kernel extension, no reboot.
How it works
JuiceFS provides the POSIX layer over R2 objects, Redis holds the metadata, and Samba inside Docker exposes the result as an ordinary network share that Finder picks up directly.
The outcome is an object bucket that looks and behaves like a folder in the Finder sidebar.
